Les Artisans d'Azure
Here's the cosplay I made during my traineeship at Les Artisans d'Azure. It's a company that make medieval armors, weapons, everything you need to be part of big medieval event and also for movies and TV shows. They make everything from scratch, everything is done in a very crafting way like. We can pretend to be in Middle-Age watching the craftsmen working! They wanted to expand their market in cosplay. So they asked me to make a cosplay to be more well know in this industry. They wanted to prove they can do something else than amor. Outside of the fashion world, I love making cosplay and run at the conventions like Comic-Con.
During the 4 weeks I was there, I had the chance to make Linkle from Zelda in 2 weeks. To make it easier, we decided to make it my size because the character and I lookalike a little and also we wouldn't need a model for the photoshoot. It was an easier way for me as well and less expensive for the company. I made everything from scratch, I chose the fabrics and I was the one who took all the decisions of the project. At the end, I was the model for the photoshoot with Lexa One, a famous cosplay photographer who works with big name in the cosplay industry, like Yaya Han, Jessica Nigri and many others.
I was also asked to wear the cosplay at Otakuthon, a japanese cosplay convention, to make some publicity for the company and give cards. The company payed my pass, since I was doing promotion for them.
