Mini-Collection : Le Mouton Noir

This was one of the final projects of my studies, where I had to create a mini-collection from sketch to production. Initially, I designed four pieces, but after seeing my men's vest, Sophie Lanza, the artistic director of the fashion show, was so impressed that she asked me to create a matching skirt within just one week.

For this project, I wanted to design something deeply personal, androgynous, and thought-provoking—a collection that would stand out, shock the audience, and be truly unique. My goal was to distinguish myself from other students and leave a lasting impression.

I achieved this by using leather, scuba, and knit fabrics in dark tones, drawing inspiration from Japanese avant-garde fashion and post-apocalyptic aesthetics. Fashion is not always about beauty in the conventional sense, and I wanted to challenge the norms by creating pieces that deviate from mainstream styles seen in stores and on television.

Le Mouton Noir

Le Mouton Noir is a brand that rejects tradition and fast fashion, focusing instead on original and durable styles. Defined by its high-quality, unique pieces, it caters to individuals who are passionate about fashion and refuse to conform to societal norms.

This brand is more than just clothing—it’s a way of thinking, a means of self-expression, and a rejection of imposed standards. Some people may find it unsettling, but that is precisely its purpose. Le Mouton Noir exists for those who dare to stand apart.
